Lead Eaters

A 2D top down shooter implemented by me and caioreigot in the third installment of the Blackthornprod Game Jam. The jam lasted a week and had the theme LESS IS MORE.

The Idea Behind Lead Eaters

I've always wanted to make a top-down shooter like Enter the Gungeon (one of my favorite games). Combine that with "The less ammo, the better!" and you have Lead Eaters.

Implementation

I pretty much only stopped to eat, exercise and sleep (again). Implementation was very much easier than any other Jam I've made. This time around, I focused on a Dialogue System and explored Couroutines to do cutscenes.  I'm really happy with the results!

Future Ideas

Here are some ideas I had if I ever came back to this project:

1 - Add the art missing art.

2 - Add the missing the sound effects.

3 - Think of original guns.
